Leo and Friends
Leo and Friends was founded in honour of our son, Leo, who was born prematurely and spent 13 days in intensive care. Through this charity, we aim to support other families facing the challenges of neonatal care. From practical resources to emotional support, we’re here to help during one of life’s hardest moments. Leo’s legacy lives on in every family we reach.
We’re taking on the “13 Days Fighting” Burpee Challenge from 18–30 Aug to honour Leo’s 13-day fight. That’s a mile of burpees every day at 13 locations across the UK.
Proudly supported by Curry’s, fundraising in stores nationwide & donating £5,000 of tech to help NICU doctors, nurses & families.
Every day kicks off at 11am, come cheer us on or smash out a few burpees with us.

The charity has been established in loving memory of our son, Leo, who was born prematurely and spent 13 precious days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Leicester. In response to the profound care Leo received and the emotional journey our family experienced, we are committed to transforming that experience into meaningful and enduring support for other families navigating similar challenges.
